LAS VEGAS, FREEMONT STREET EXPERIENCE (2007)
SORRY, SOME DATA ARE NOT TRANSLATED YET
Description As Champcar has no race in 2006 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, a new proposal is being carried on for a new race in 2007. It should be raced under the lights (like at Houston Reliant Park) on Saturday Night. The proposed circuit should be in Old Downtown area: Las Vegas City Council on May 3rd 2006 decided to allocate a budget of 2.3 million US Dollars

This project, updated at mid April 2006, was proposed by Motorsport Consulting and one of the most relevant feature is the closeness to Fremont Street Experience, the famous casino street, symbol of Las Vegas.

At first the race was scheduled on November 17th 2007, then it has been moved to April 6th-8th 2007.

Meanwhile, there were rumors about a F.1 GP in the same date on the same circuit, but probably it was no more than a preliminary proposal.
