LOWOOD
Description Track built on an airfield used for Second World War. It was used from 1948 to 1952, when Air Ministry decided to stop races. In 1956 it was bought by Queensland Racing Drivers’ Club. In 1960 it hosted Australia GP (Formula Libre). The track was finally closed in 1966, when Queensland Racing Drivers’ Club decided to concentrate on Lakeside. Today some section of the original track are nearly disappeared

Description Sources don’t agree either on direction (according to Motor Racing Circuits Database it was clockwise, according o map published by The GEL Motorsport - Tracks Around The World is was anticlockwise) or on track length, probably because of a misunderstanding between km and miles
