BORDANO, FRIULI
SORRY, SOME DATA ARE NOT TRANSLATED YET
Not to be confused with Amaro, Friuli - Mortegliano, Friuli - Precenicco, Pista del Friuli Venezia Giulia
Description Proposal for a new permanent track near an existing autocross circuit. I don’t know when it was first proposed, my first infos are dated 1979. At beginning, they hoped to open the track in 1981 and to host all categories up to Formula 2. After many years and many discussions, it has been abandoned. However, the idea of build an «Autodromo del Friuli» (Friuli Circuit) was carried on in Amaro, Villesse and Tolmezzo (but with no result)

Autodromo del Friuli
Description Layout slightly changed. Local pepole did’t want this track, but it seemed it would be shortly built and used not only for races up to Formula 3, also by motorbike and by Police, Italian Army, Carabinieri and Guardia di Finanza for fast driving school. Formula 3 cars could have reached 240 km/h - 149 mph on main straight, 80 km/h - 50 mph at hairpin and 150 km/h - 93 mph on the fast bend.
