Description Street circuit used at list for Formula 3 Gran Premio de Rosario on February 23th 1964.

Description by Aldo Pessina, from "Eco dello Sport" issued in Lugano (Switzerland), in an unknown day of March 1964 (translation is mine)
It’s a classical street circuit, on both directions of an "Avenida" (large street) with many trees. It is overlooked by "Monumento a la Bandera" (Flag Monument) and for the whole length is is close to Rio de la Plata. Track was bounded by high pavement and big buttonwoods. Its biggest defect: its paved with large porphity tiles. It has irregular difference of level that are lethal for chassis and it’s very slippery, especially on braking points, that are soon covered in rubber, left from blocked tyres. It has no difficulties in driving but a wide bend run sliding at fast speed. Because of its irregular surface, it had to be shortened quite a lot, as shown in the pic (unpublished here).

Formula Junior jumped and touched the bottom. After Carmelo Genovese’s crash during practice, the circuit was shortened. New layout was not so interesting, but a little safer. The race was reduced from the original two heats 25 laps long to 2 heats 10 laps long and a final race 20 laps long. Nevertheless, only six drivers were able to finish the race: Moser, Deserti, Geki Russo, Dorfliger, Habegger and Luigi Malanca (in this order).
