Angoulême - Circuit des Remparts
PHOTOS |
Photos taken on Spring 2005, already posted on Atlas F.1 - The Nostalgia Forum - A walk around Angoulême and here published with author’s permission. Comments by Barry Boor slighty modified; Italian translation is mine. Numbers on the map will be referred to as you work your way down the images, which are in sequence around the lap in the direction the cars travelled unless stated otherwise Angoulême is a remarkable race circuit. Less than a mile long, it makes Montecarlo and Pau look like the wide open prairies.... Indeed, a couple of the corners look too tight to get anything round in one go. |
