Description In 1966 layout was modified by creating fast left-handers and sharp hairpins. It was attractive to the viewers as well to the drivers.

Budapest Népliget Park
Description In 1984 an Hungary F.1 GP was scheduled on October 7th: at first it should have been raced at Városliget (City Wood), but after some weeks street circuit at Népliget came up again. It was a layout completely different to the ones used in 1936 and 1972. In order to develop this proposal, many trees respected as National Monuments would have been cut down. It was never developed, but two more came up again in 1985 for host Hungary F.1 GP in 1986

In 1985 at least two more proposal for hosting 1986 Hungary F.1 GP at Népliget (there had been 5 proposal between 1984 and 1985). They were replaced at first by Velencei-tó (proposal not developed), then by Hungaroring.
