CASTEL FIRMIANO / SCHLOSS SIGMUNDSKRON
Description Some local sportsmen, pressed by AC Bolzano (Automobil Club Bolzano), proposed to built a new circuit South of Castel Firmiano. This area is quite small, so the track would have had unusual peculiarity, in some way similar to a hillclimb. Track width would have been 9 m, with 6 m more (3 for each side) used as safety area. Since 1972 there were many protests against this proposal, because of environmental impact, and the trak was never built.
