Circuito dei Laghi di Ganzirri
Description | Street track used for 10 ore di Messina (Messina’s 10 hours) on July 19th-20th 1958. Maybe the same circuit was used also in 1957 and at least until 1960 (maybe also later), while from 1953 to 1956 another circuit was used: it was in Messina’s harbour area, in town center. Start/finish line was at Granatari. I think that the circuit I draw is exact because its length is right and in this area there are no opporiunities to have another circuit 6.2 km long. I’m not sure that direction was anticlockwise. I don’t know if these sources are referred to slighlty different track layout or if this difference is due to a mistype

Circuito dei Laghi di Ganzirri
Description | I have no info about this track in 1960s, but during 1969 season a spectator died because of a crash. On July 18th 1971 5th Premio Messina was raced on a circuit 3400 m long. A severe crasch occurred and two spectators died, so this circuit was never more used. Map previously shown here has been deleted because it was wrong. Current map is to be confirmed
