Description | At the end of 1976 Walter Wolf, that was ready to make his first F.1 debut, told that some Canadian trader were going to move F.1 GP from Mosport to Montréal. According to this proposal, the circuit would have used Olympic Stadium for build an ’S’ bend and a chicane; the track would have gone out through two tunnels under tribunes 11 m long and 30 m wide, already existing. This proposal was never developed, but in 1978 Île Notre-Dame street circuit was inaugurated. | |||||||||||||||
