HOUSTON (CONVENTION CENTER)
Description Circuit used for Cart and TransAm races. My map is quite correct, but sources don’t agree on some points. Features:
  • Pit lane: the one I drawn is different from one shown by my sources (but 4 websites show 4 different layout); mine is drawn from a Spotter Guide of a Cart GP (I don’t know what year), and so I think it should be quite reliable
  • Start line: at least in 1998 it was on the opposite straight (Austin Street). The only source that reports it is racingcircuits.net, while all the others reports it in the same place as finish line
  • Finish street name: it should be Avenida de Las Americas (as I saw clearly on a 1998 video clip), but some sources names it Chenevert Streetor G.R. Brown Convention Boulevard (North American Motorsport Pages)
  • Paddock: it was inside Convention Center. You can see some pics on the forum
