Description | Proposal done by Giuseppe Ciraci, a former rallyman. In Spring 1990 the proposal seemed quite developed, so that according to some rumors the track should have been approved for F.1 too and there were contacts for organize a GP or t least winter tests. Problems to be solved were about town planning scheme (this area was planned as agricultural area even if it already had all facilities) and money, even if public aids and private investors should have been able to collect enough money. Track should have been built on an area 400.000 m² wide. It should have been approx 4 km - 2.5 mi long and 12 m wide. Main straight should have been 620 m - 0.385 mi long and 15 m wide. Inside the track there should have been a service road 1800 m - 1.119 mi long, two service areas, an heliport and four marshall positions. Paddock, approx 4500 m² wide, should have been reachable using a subway just behind pits. It should have had 20 boxes, 7x8 m wide, with bathrooms. Upstairs, offices and press rooms; close to pits there should have been a two-stairs control tower. Five tribunes planned, all outside the track, should have hold 22,000 spectators. Close to the circuit there should have been a kart track, a cross track and a touristic-sporting center. I have no more info. | ||||||||||
