NEW YORK, FLUSHING MEADOWS
Not to be confused with New York, Central Park - New York, World Trade Center - Staten Island - Weehawken, Port Imperial, New York (F.1 2013)
Description A New York F.1 GP was scheduled three times, in 1983, 1984 and 1985 but it has never been raced. Final decision to abort this proposal was taken in spring 1986. These two maps (different also in direction) show circuit proposed for 1985; it is quite similar to ones proposed on previous years. Unknown magazine shows in the same page also map of all other circuits used by F.1 in 1985 and some of them are quite inaccurate, so I don’t know what to think about this track.
