HASTINGS, MOTORSPORT PARK OF HASTINGS
Description Track located at Hastings, Nebraska, to be used noth for National races and as for tests.
Created by a Daniel Anderson’s idea, according to his first proposal the track should have been built at Hastings Muncipal Airport. After some protests by local people and as the ground was not bought, the circuit was ’moved’ on a ground 0.6 km² - 60 hectares - 150 acres wide bought in February 2005. This new area is located between Highway East 6, Showboat Bulevard and Missuri Railroad (now abandoned)

First project was made by Wilson Motorsport, with contribution of Hastings Economic Development Corporation and Sports Car Club of America. It was proposed on April 14th 2005: the track should have been 3588 m - 2.230 mi long and padock should have been 0.04 km² - 4 hectares - 10 acres with, with an industrial area 0.04 km² - 4 hectares - 10 acres wide.

Later, JEO Consulting Group proposed some changes to original proposal and track length increased up to 3700 m - 2.300 mi. Besides, it has been decided to built in a second phase a dragstrip.

Inauguration of the circuit should be in July 2006, but in 2005 on still dirt track (not yet paved) a SCCA Rallycross was raced here.
