PIRITA-KOSE-KLOOSTRIMETSA
Description Road circuit used from 1933 to 1939 for motorbike and car races, including Estonian GP. It was reopened in 1962 for motorbikes and 1997 for cars.

In 1982 there were many rumors about a F.1 GP in Sovit Union, at Moscow or Leningrad. At beginning of 1983, also thanks to many problems of these proposals, Estonia proposed itself for hosting GP: they printed some documentation about "Tallin ’83 - Vormel 1". During a visit in 1986 it seems that the track needed a lot of works in order to satisfy F.1 requirements: the traks goes through two bridges to be widened, a wood and some houses should be removed in order to have room for paddock. I think that 1986 layout was a little different to the one shown in my map, in Pirita Kurv section, where new start/finish line should have been located.

Pirita-Kose-Kloostrimetsa
Description This circuit had only a small section in common with the 1933÷1939 one; remaining part was shifted East (right on the map) inside the valley of Pirita river. For this reason, the circuit included a number of considerable slopes.

Kalevi Circuit
Description Circuit was shortened by excluding Kalmistu Kurv replacing it with Uus kurb (= the new curve).
The circuit was temporary closed in 1977 because of rebuiliding of the bridge over the Pirita. Motorcycle racing was resumed there later.

According to Racingcircuits.net, Uus Kurv was added only in 1970s, while from 1965 to 197? Plangu Kurv was a left bend for joiing directly the following straight
