BUDDH INTERNATIONAL CIRCUIT
JAYPEE GROUP
Description In June 2007 Indian Olympic Comitee announced that first F.1 Indian GP should have been scheduled in 2009 season. There were nothing sure about possible circuit: a street circuit could be created around India Gate or a new circuit outside Delhi.
In 2009 it has been announced that the new track, named Jaypee Group Circuit or Jaypee International Race Circuit, would have been built at Greater Noida, South-Eastern suburb of Delhi and it should be ready within April 2011.
In April 2011, when works were in progress, the circuit was officially named Buddh International Circuit.
