|
Description
|
The only 500 m long track at Leipzig was build in 1892 as a velodrom. In 1904 the banking was "stocked up" on 9 m - 29.5 ft. In 1938 the track was brocken down for an expo-aera, which was never build during or after the war. The only "powered" race on this 500 m velodrom I know was a motorbike race in 1926, the Hanover Motorcycle Sport Club Prize, won by a Harley Davidson.
