BOLOGNA (1908÷1913)
Not to be confused with Bologna, Autodromo - Bologna, Giardini Margherita - Bologna, Motor Show - Bologna, Zappoli - Borgo Panigale (Ducati) - Borgo Panigale, Pista Azzurra
Description Bologna circuit was used at least in 1908 (Coppa Florio), 1909, 1913 and probably 1911. I think that 1908, 1911 and 1913 circuits are quite the same, while 1909 (not on the map) one was shorter. The only sure infos are about 1908 circuit: start was in Borgo Panigale (a little village just outside Bologna, now there are airport and an important motorway junction) and it ran on via Emilia to Castelfranco Emilia. Then it went to Sant’Agata Bolognese (future home of Lamborghini) and San Giovanni in Persiceto and than back to Borgo Panigale.
Coppa Florio 1908 was the first race ever seen by Enzo Ferrari; he was only 10.
Straight from Modena to Navicello (in green on the map) was used in 1909 for a mile race and it has nothing to do with 1909 Bologna circuit.
