Description Proposed permanent road circuit that will have a FIA Grade 2-license, making it suitable for lower categories of racing up to GP2. West course should be ready in 2012, while the full circuit in 2013.
Tehran Times on July 30th 2021 wrote "So far, 90% of the racetrack and its main building have been completed and the ensemble will be inaugurated by the end of Tir (July 22)" and that it is "suitable for holding Formula One competitions according to the standards of the [International] Automobile Federation", but I don’t know if it means FIA Grade 1.
