MONTICHIARI, FASCIA D’ORO
Not to be confused with Brescia - Brescia (aeroporto)
Description Road circuit used on September 4th 1921 for 1st Italian Grand Prix. It should have been the permanent Italian track, but after few months new Autodromo di Monza was built and Italian Gran Prix never come back to Montichiari. Fascia d’Oro straight was used later many times by Mille Miglia, also by the historical one, and by previous Brescia circuits.
This map comes fromtrack description found on Autodromo di Monza official website and on Virgilio Enrico Piralli’s website and could be approximated. At Fascia d’Oro (Golden Breacket) there was a tribune for 400 persons; maybe start/stop line was there.
The circuit was used also in 1923, while I have no info about any possible activity in 1922
Location Montichiari
BS - Brescia - Lombardia
Location South East of Brescia, between Montichiari, the road to Ghedi and the one to Brescia. One of the straight was where now there is Montichiari airport

Fascia D’Oro restaurant; maybe start-finish line was here.
In foreground, National Road Brescia-Mantova
Provincial road SP37. It was not used for the circuit, but you can see a typical landscape of this area. In background, hills east of Brescia.Little dirty road near the one used by the circuit. Maybe in 1921 the circuit should like quite like this.Junction (now it’s a round about) between roads to Montichiari, Ghedi and Calvisano.

Junction between National Road Brescia-Mantova (background) and the road tangent to Montichiari (foreground). The latter should be the road 1400 m long built in 1921 in order to complete the circuit, now is one of Montichiari’s street.
