Not to be confused with | Arizona Proving Ground |
Description | Track in Phoenix suburbs, proposed by Wilson Motorsport in November 2002 and opened in 2003. Then it was closed in 2004 and mid 2005, because the permit was revoked because of noise for Litchfield Park residents. The circuit is very close to Luke Air Force Base, where there are military jets: as they are noisyas well, the permit was given again and the track reopened. Main circuit is 2.25 mi long, and two shorter secondary circuits can be used, each one with its own pits and both 1.13 mi long. |
