Description Street circuit. In 1970 there was a proposal for changing direction, from clockwise to anticlockwise, because pits are just after a quick bend; I don't think this was ever done.<br />
On June 25th 1971 the circuit was temporary closed because some requirements made by CSI and GPDA were not fulfilled. They were made after some severe accident occurred, among them a fatal one during a Formula V race. Dangerousness of the circuit is due to high barrier, so that low cars fitted under them, with a great danger for drivers. Moreover, main straight was so dangerous that they proposed to change direction from right to left (but I don't know in regards to what and I don't think it was changed). Once the track was opened, CSI sanction provide for a block of all international activities for 60 days, so 1971 season was virtually ended in June. I don't know when the track was reopened and what changes were made.
